I'm a proud Newcastle local who loves spending time with my three beautiful kids, my amazing wife Alyse, and a great bunch of mates.

A Bit About Me

Outside of weddings, my world revolves around people. Alongside raising our three kids, my wife and I have been foster carers for over a decade, welcoming two incredible young boys Tim and Robert into our family when they were just 9 and 10 years old. Today, they’re 21 and 22. Those lived experiences have shaped how I show up… how I read a room, hold space, and bring warmth and steadiness to moments that really matter.

My Style as a Wedding Celebrant & MC
I’m known for creating wedding ceremonies that feel relaxed, natural, fun and genuinely personal.

No recycled scripts. No awkward filler. No “we’ve heard this before” moments.

Whether I’m standing out front as your wedding celebrant or behind the mic as your MC, my role is simple… guide the moment, not steal it, and make sure you and your guests feel completely present.

Why the Hunter Valley Feels Like Home
One of my favourite places in the world to work is Moravia Park in Lovedale! and not just because it’s an incredible Hunter Valley wedding venue. By pure luck and timing, my wife and I were actually the very first wedding ever held at Moravia Park, long before I became a celebrant. Every time I walk back onto that property now, it feels like a full-circle moment.

Behind the Mic, A Few Things You Might Not Know

• I’m a footy tragic, even though my beloved Knights regularly get absolutely whacked

• My first full-time job was assistant manager at a pub… which I also lived in

• I boxed competitively as a kid and fought at State Titles at 12

• I’ve MC’d conferences, weddings, Fight Nights, and large-scale International corporate events across Australia

• I’ve trained Child Protection training across the USA and am a Certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Instructor

• Sundays = family, American-style BBQ, a cold beer, and country music!
